Abstract

The consciousness interpretation way in early yogachara is opened and consciousness levels and the way of their purification – awakening are explained in the article. The Buddhists rethought concept consciousness, present in Indian philosophical culture, interpreting it with dharmical (instant, unique, nonessence). Though, Yogācāra exponents, trying to explain the reasons of consciousness – exponents’ misleading out-threading, supplemented six traditional levels of awareness with the storehouse-consciousness and self-consciousness and implemented the concept seeds, which the storehouse-consciousness accumulates. Due to vāsanā he awareness pollution, which generates suffering, takes place. Consciousness purification – it is liberation of accumulated seeds influence. Seeds are the imprint of previous dharmas, which produces thirst of reproduction of instant, therefore inevitably disappeared reality. We can admit the refusal in difference of essence and evidence, therefore in thoughts about matters primary ontological principals as one of the most specific and original traits of Buddhism. Everything is what it is. Fluctuation and instancy of the existance of some element – dharma are the only reality of being. An important question : how to explain the reality of the basis of human subjectivity in conditions, when it, at the first sight, verifies its own out-threading, arises for the Buddhists, who developed their studies within Indian philisophical culture. Consciousnesses are instant – dharmas are realizing, which, according to the main principles of the Buddhism, is possible to explain as the unity of that who realizes with that, what is realized, but the formulation: «that who realizes» is also uncorrect for the Buddhism, because the difference between unchangeable principal of awareness – subject (substance) and the act of awareness – the predicate (manifestation) is fixed in it. The fact that Buddhist notionalists determined all the consciousnesses as identical deserves the special attention. They admitted the connectionstipulation without essential causality between consciousnesses, as between dharmas; therefore the way to the awakening is progressive process of new quality consciousnesses rise.
