Abstract
The article investigates the Pentecostal Hermeneutics regarding the separation of spiritual revival based on the texts of the New Testament. In the writings of modern evangelical researchers, the positive achievements of the editorial analysis method are highlighted. In order to adequately isolate the theological meaning of biblical narratives, the editorial criticism tools, along with approaches in the field of literary analysis, are used. It is noted that Pentecostal theologians seek to exploit new horizons that open up in a new hermeneutical context and actualize questions concerning the nature of Luke's pneumatology and its relationship with Paul's pneumatology. This gave impetus for the wide-ranging evangelical discussion of the nature of biblical pneumatology in its full scope and the impact it can have on the life of the modern church. A peculiar consensus in the evangelical hermeneutics alienated the question of the assignment of narratives in the New Testament and the priority of the didactic texts over the historical ones. Luke, Paul and John differed in expressing their thoughts and putting theological emphasis. The New Testament authors testify to the diverse work of the Spirit in man, which Pentecostals share in the soterological and charismatic parts, using a variety of vocabulary, through which these actions are described in their books. The author of the article concludes that in the writings of modern evangelical researchers the positive achievements of the method of analysis of the editions are carefully considered. The Gospels are for the most part regarded as a source of theological lessons intended for readers. To adequately highlight the theological meaning of biblical narratives, the editorial critique tool is used, along with approaches to literary analysis. A peculiar consensus in evangelical hermeneutics eliminated the question of the purpose of narratives in the New Testament and the priority of didactic texts over historical ones.
