Abstract
The article analyzes the specifics conceptual rethinking ethical and religious beliefs Søren Kierkegaard Merold Westphal’s in the context of today, particularly in the context of his controversy with traditional post-modernistic outlook. We consider methodological and conceptual thinker Danish influence on the formation and development of existential theology and ethics existential M. Westphal. We study the proposed Westphal’s concept of «religiousness C», in which the primacy of practice actually based on faith, which is interpreted by him, following Kierkegaard as a virtue, but as an intellectual virtue, but as a moral virtue. It is shown that the most important thing for Merold Westphal in kierkegaardian existential dialectic of love is the primacy of charity.
