Abstract
Proceeding from the statement of devaluation in the postmodern era of the value bases of human life, in the article there is posed the problem of the possibility of «rehabilitation» of semantic value answers to the axiological challenges of our time. Although the new paradigm of philosophical and historical thinking certainly requires a certain relativization of the main categories of interpretation of reality, including value existence, the author concentrates on the extremes of relativism. According to the author, the study of the dynamics of value ideas convinces us that often we are dealing not with qualitatively new axiological formulas and constructs, but with their interpretation, revealing the newest images of the value picture of modern civilization.
