Abstract
The article highlights the place and importance of religion in the life and work of V. Rozanov and substantiates the view tat the concept of the philosopher is largely due to the peculiarities of his personal life. Against this background, it is shown that the critique of Christianity in the works of a thinker not identical criticism of religion in general, as in the case of the thinker we are talking about a non-denominational religiosity. Along with the ideological kinship of the philosophical views of V. Rozanov. On the one hand-the creed of Judaism and on the other hand- ideas of postmodernism.
