Abstract
The paper reveals a problem of «meaning» in the context of metaphor, its cognitive nature opens a «space» for interpretation scientific texts and regulations. An important argument in determining the meaning is the complex: «a sign» – «an idea» – «a referent», which is a basis of a process of communication. Meaning as an information element appears as an argument to prove the truth or falsity of the research.
