Abstract
The essence of religious resonance is identified as a psychic state of a person, which is the result and requirement at the same time for perception of the sacred sense of a symbolic art image of Christian art, due to synchronization of psychic mechanisms of interiorization and extrapolation. It is proved that this basic purpose of the religious resonance, which appears during the process of perception by a person the sacred meaning of a symbolic art image of Christian art, is considered as the main function which is executed during the process of voluntary change of the person’s behavior to that corresponding Christian requirements and providing co- evolutionary processes.
