The creative potential of the individual is a unique element in the transformation of the human environment. However, during the history of formation and development of creativity in the context of the philosophical tradition there have been significant changes.Aristotle considers human a natural being, endowed with reason, spirit, and creativity is a social phenomenon. In the theological concept, human is seen as a supernatural entity that has its own meaning, purpose and history. Creativity is proper in God, not human. Thus, in the theological concept, human loses his creative potential. Later in the article, the analysis leads to an understanding of human as the creator of his own life and destiny. There is an anthropological turn to the understanding of creativity. In the later stages of human development, creativity is identified with thinking. Human's creativity depends on creation, which is the activity of the Absolute Idea, which he calls “eternal creativity, eternal vitality”. The creative power of the human heart is revealed in the philosophical concept of G. Skovoroda. In existential philosophy, freedom acts as a specific component of human existence, which is an irrational idea that inspires creativity. And creativity reveals the enormous potential of the human spirit. ER -
