Abstract
The article is an attempt to solve the central problem of aesthetics, which mankind has been trying to solve the already 2,500 years: what is the aesthetic attitude? What is beautiful and the ugly, the sublime and the valley, and so on. N. Subjecting a brief critique of the concept of nature and essence of the categories of aesthetics of the past and the present, the author argues that as the aesthetic is not there; There is an aesthetic relation of man to reality. The author gives a detailed analysis of this relationship, revealing many of his points, which makes it possible, at last, begin to study the problem of the essence of beauty and ugliness, the sublime and the profane, and so on.
